Description
A: case and column; B: balance beam C & D: balance pans. Scale consists of balance beam with 2 pans supported on vertical brass columns on a 3/4" black slate base. The entire assembly is mounted inside a wood case with glass sides, back and top. Access to balance is via the vertically sliding glass front of the case. Front case marked "34C" in white paint at top left. Number "29108" stamped in wood case at right side lower front corner.
