This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Corner of Stevenson and Ecker Streets 1916." Photo shows four-story brick building containing Gilmartin Co. Printers and Bookbinders, G.W. Price Pump & Engine Co., and two other businesses whose names are partially obscured by a telephone pole which two men are climbing. Many of the building's window panes are shattered, probably due to a fire which appears to have consumed the building in the foreground.
