Description
Poster celebrating the dedication of trolley car 531, sponsored by Hugh Stuart Center Charitable Trust, with honorary conductor Urban Transportation Development Corporation. The trolley is painted brown and yellow, and pictured in front of the Empire Firehouse replica building at History Park. San Jose Trolley Corporation Board of Directors listed on right; Santa Clara County Transit District Board of Supervisors listed on left. Full list of sponsors at bottom. One paragraph background on the trolley in lower left: "Car 531 ran from 1928 to 1986 in Melbourne, Australia and was restored and returned to service by the San Jose Trolley Corporation on January 26, 1990."
