Description
A: Sheer black crepe dress, gold embroidery on skirt of stylized roses in groups of 3. Bodice has V-neckline and is sleeveless. Trimmed with pintucking at shoulders. Drop waistline, slight gathering at side seam at natural waist line, waistline has slight upward curve across the front, curves lower than hip level at the back. 4-inch plain sheer black gathered ruffle follows the curved waist seam. Fastens with 3 black metal snaps at hip. Skirt hem also trimmed with sheer black gathered ruffle. B: Jacket with 3/4 sleeves and wide cuff made of plain crepe, split on the inside elbow seam to hang open over the arm. Pintucked at the front on the shoulders; neckline, front opening, and back hem edged with bias-cut, 2 to 4-inch graduated, slightly gathered ruffle, which hangs in a fluttering, handkerchief-hem effect down the front, instead of lying flat. Ruffle across the back echoes the hip ruffle across the back of the dress. C: sheer black self-fabric belt made of the crepe with gold embroidery.
