Description
Photograph of a view of the quadrangle of Mission San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California, ca.1900. Clusters of plants (taro?) are scattered throughout the quadrangle. About a dozen small trees can be seen springing from the ground. To the left are worn adobe posts of the dilapidated arches of the arcade. In the background stands part of the arcade but in better condition. The building and the arcade in the background appear to be in the process of restoration. A majority of the right section of the building have been repaired while the left section remains in a state of disrepair.
