Photograph of lawn bowling in Beverly Hills, ca.1930. A row of mats can be seen extending from the foreground to the right background people are grouped together while standing on the mats. Small bowls can be seen spread on the ground around the mats. An old man standing in a delivery position can be seen in the center foreground. In the far left, another group of people are standing on a slightly more elevated grassy ground next to benches and bushes. In the left background, two additional men are standing around small bowls which are visible sitting on the floor. A rope fence limits the area on which the people are behind it, a house is observable and above its entrance a sign reads: "Beverly Hills Lawn Bowling Club". A second house can be partially visible in the left far background while being surrounded by trees.
