Image of an eye-level street view of Broad and Spring Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, showing the Odd Fellows' Hall designed by architect Samuel Sloan to the right, as well as side views of additional buildings including the Spring Garden Institute, Commissioners Hall, Church of the Assumption, and St. Mark's Church, a fountain, carriages, and pedestrians; architect, builder, and building committee printed in margin.
Probable date based on reference in Wainwright, Philadelphia, 257. "From Nature and on Stone by Rease & Schell 17 So. 5th St. Philad."--text, lower right margin. "Broad & Spring Garden Streets, / Philadelphia."--text, bottom margin. "Erected 1857 / Demolished 1910 = 59 years."--handwritten text, bottom margin.
