Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
The Eastside Brewery, located at 1920-2026 E. Main Street, was designed by architect John C. Austin, and built between 1898 and 1908. It was formerly the Los Angeles Brewing Co., then became Eastside Brewery, and was finally owned by Pabst.
The end of Prohibition brings the re-opening of the Eastside beer brewery. View 3: A man stands next to a 2-horse team (not visible in this shot) with a wagon full of barrels, as he clears away the cobwebs with a broom. In the background, a portion of the brewery is visible with a logo on the side of the building, which partially reads: "The Perfect Brew".
