Men gather to watch a horseshoe pitching contest at Pacific Park in Long Beach, organized by the Long Beach Horseshoe Club. The horsehoe pitch is around the edge of grassy area with eucalyptus trees and a "Keep off the grass" sign. Various civic and private buildings are in the background. The Pacific Park was renamed Lincoln Park in 1920 and is located at Ocean and Pacific.
