Description
Photographs from Wild Legacy Book. Photograph, "Installing 1000th guzzler near Hemet, Riverside County, 1950", department installs in arid country to trap runoff and spring water and make available to deer and upland game. This has resulted in increased game populations in desert and semi-desert areas - quail, doves, deer, chukar, etc.
