On January 1, 1979, the name of the Hollywood-Burbank Airport was changed to the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport. Consequently, the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport became the Bob Hope Airport, in honor of the late comedian Bob Hope, on November 4th, 2013.; NBC Productions, initially established by RCA in 1947, was renamed NBC Studios in 1996.
