Miss Barbara Rosien, newly appointed member of the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Aging by Governor Edmund G. Brown, was sworn in today (March 2) by Attorney General Stanley Mosk. Assistant Executive Director of the Housing Authority, City of Los Angeles, Miss Rosien has served as coordinator in preparing a two-year report for the Senate Interim Committee on Housing and Recreational Needs for the elderly. Her appointment is for an indefinite term. Additional members of the Governor's Committee on Aging included George McLain, Los Angeles; George Hellyer, Jr., San Francisco; Mrs. Ann Boyd, Lancaster; and Rev. Harold E. Baker, Chula Vista. The reappointed members are Dr. Richard L. Johnson, Sacramento; T. R. Hyde, Santa Cruz, and Mrs. Edna Bonn, Atherton. Photograph dated March 3, 1959.
