Description
The building at 36 Miller Avenue, the location of the locksmith shop shown in the left of the photo, was owned by Miss Marjorie in 1953, an elderly lady who lived at that time at 225 Union St. in San Francisco. Joe Eastburn rented the building from Miss Pringle on February 1, 1953 after having bought the tool rental business from Jack Kolanda. Joe never met Miss Pringle, but remained at 36 Miller Avenue until June of 1968. The building had been condemned and was demolished in that year. (Information was furnished by the Eastburn's, Grace and Joe, in 1981.)
