Thirty young women and two men, members of the student body of the Los Angeles Library School, are shown digesting information concerning Los Angeles County's free library system, one of the largest in the world. Miss Helen Vogelson, librarian, points out how the system distributes 3,000,000 books annually to 26 incorporated cities and other territory in the county. The class, directed by Katherine Anderson, visited all library departments. Photo dated: February 6, 1932.
