Description: Mural on an unidentified section of El Mercado del Este de Los Angeles, also called Grande Mercado or simply "El Mercado", in the heart of East L.A. This mural depicts several everyday products, such as: Coca Cola, Colgate toothpaste, Ajax Cleanser, Alberto VO5 shampoo, and others. The artist and year this mural was painted are unknown. El Mercado is a three-story enclosed market, which is stocked with Mexican foods, clothing, leather goods, and restaurants with live Mariachi bands that play while customers enjoy their meal. It is located at 3425 East 1st Street, east of Lorena in Boyle Heights.
