The Pumpkin Hollow Gallery was located at 23517 Calabasas Road in Calabasas, California. Photograph article dated July 12, 1962 partially reads, "Lewis, who took up painting 12 years ago to 'bring beauty to this ugly world,' employs unusual textures in his painting. 'I mix sand, fine bits of metals, and occasionally sawdust with my pigments to give them texture...' Stepping inside the Pumpkin Hallow [sic] Gallery he pointed to numerous other paintings, part of his third one-man show on exhibit until the end of July."
