Description
Planned and printed by the Ullman Company, Brooklyn, N.Y. this picture booklet portrayed the lives of the military and civilian personnel of the McClellan Air Force Base. These 1944 pictures show many facets of the work carried out on the base and the responsibility they hold in keeping the military planes up in the air. The 24 hour base was responsible for servicing and having the military planes in working conditions in just a matter of days.
