Robert Tague served as Burbank’s Community Development Department from 1991 to 2000. According to the July 19, 2000, Burbank Leader, during his tenure, Tague was charged with overseeing the city’s redevelopment of the area surrounding Lockheed’s former “Skunk Works” facilities following the company's move to Palmdale in 1991, as well as with reinvigorating the city’s downtown area along San Fernando Road.
