Description
Mexican fan palms frame a busy stretch of Tenth Street, between N and L Streets in this circa 1945 postcard. To the left of the frame are, in the foreground, the Library and Courts building while, in the background, showing columns, pediment and frieze, is Office Building Number One. The red brick building in the distance, and at the corner of Tenth and J streets, is the 14-story California Western State Life Insurance Building.
