Fremont and General Andres Pico on January 13, 1847, at Tomas Felix' six-room adobe farmhouse at Campo de Cahuenga, and ended hostilities in California between Mexico and the United Stated. Campo de Cahuenga is registered on the National Register of Historic Places, #72001602, and is designated California Historical Landmark #51 as well as City of Los Angeles City Historical Monument #29, and is located at 3919 Lankershim Boulevard.
