Photograph caption reads: "Don Christensen, right , of 5221 Donna Ave., Tarzana, and artist Anthony Sgroi, of Downey, flank Walt Disney who looks over Dell comic book entitled "Man in space" which was singled out for Thomas Alva Edison Foundation Awards. Artist and writer both received scrolls and cash awards for their part in betterment of comics and for stimulating interest in science". The cover title of the publication held by Mr. Disney reads "Walt Disney's Man in space, a science feature from Tomorrowland". Photograph dated: May 3, 1957.
