Children play in the Paul de Longpre´ gardens located near Cahuenga Blvd. at Hollywood Blvd. The French born artist oversaw an extensive flower garden, which at one time contained 4,000 roses. De Longpre´'s paintings depicted the very flowers he grew. The residence, art galleries and gardens were a popular tourist destination for several years. The residence was eventually demolished in 1927.
