Description
Photograph of billboards at a miniature golf course, ca.1930. In the right, extending from the foreground towards the background, a mini golf course can be seen framed by a brick floor. It ends in the background, with a tiny hole surrounded by rocks and two small signs that say "2" and "Hazard [?] 5 Shots [?]". To the left, a grassy lawn with small bushes and signs which display the number "1" and read "Visitors Welcome", respectively, are visible. In the left background, two men are standing on another course. Two large advertisement signs on a brick wall serve as the backdrop, which read: "Coca-Cola Natural Refreshment" and "After Every Meal Wringley's Spearmint Perfect Gum". Another sign can be seen next to them that says "For Sale or Lease 150' x 150' to alley See Owner 2421 Live Oak St. Walnut Park Phone_ _ _ _ Lafayte 4401". A sidewalk street can be partially observable in the extreme right.
