Photograph caption dated April 4, 1960 reads, "Lenten and Easter portions of Handel's Messiah are rehearsed by soloists, Miss Eleanor Demmel, left, contralto, and Mrs. Fred Samuels, soprano, with Richard Jenkins, organist and choirmaster of St. Paul's First Lutheran Church of North Hollywood. Parish's 40-voice Chancel Choir will sing Easter part of Messiah in 8 p.m. concert tomorrow in church sanctuary, 5244 Tujunga Ave."
