Photograph caption dated March 20, 1958 reads, "Two of the top high school pole vaulters in the city, Ken Olson, left, of Van Nuys High, and Mike Chandler, North Hollywood High, renew their friendly feud tomorrow in a Valley League track meet at Van Nuys. Olson is shown clearing 12 ft. 10 1/2 in. in the recent Canoga Park Relays while the camera catches Chandler missing the same height." Pictured is Ken Olson.
