View of a street, going into the distance with bare leafless trees at the end of the view. On the left side is a "Studebacker" business, identified by a vertical sign; on the right is a similar sign for "Capitol Chevrolet." Businesses include: Bellevier Cafe, Nash-Lafayette.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
