1989-1377. In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. D, leaf 14. View of a street, going into the distance with bare leafless trees at the end of the view. On the left side is a "Studebacker" business, identified by a vertical sign; on the right is a similar sign for "Capitol Chevrolet." Businesses include: Bellevier Cafe, Nash-Lafayette. Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
