Description
Photograph of the interior of an electric plant, ca.1930. A row of darkly colored semi-circular machines runs from the left foreground to the right background. The machines alternate in two different sizes. The larger machines have rounded edges and oval shaped hole running along the curve while the smaller objects have sharp edges with no holes. In the center foreground sits s rectangular hole in the floor. The hole is surrounded by a guard rail made of metallic poles. A rounded apparatus is visible inside the hole. Similar holes extend into the background while light cascades into the room through long rectangular windows on the left.
