Description
This letter was written by John F. Horsley on October 11th in 1886 addressed to L. S. Dyan. The letter is written on letterhead of John F. Horsley: a florist who fulfilled orders for weddings and funerals. Horsley describes Dyan as the best resident of Ontario. Horsley therefore appoints Dyan to be his proxy to vote at the annual San Antonio Water Company stockholders meeting. Dyan is to vote as Horsley with the ten shares of water stock. Horsley also discusses a man who has been preaching every evening and mentions returning to California but cannot because the route is not clear.
