Interior of the lodge at Camp Radford, located near Barton Flats, in the San Bernardino Mountains, at an elevation of 5,700 feet. A fireplace made of large local rocks is the center of the room, which appears to seat hundreds. At one end of the room, in the background, is a stage used for various performances. Camp Radford, which opened in 1919, includes facilities for up to 260 campers, is operated by the Los Angeles Dept. of Recreation and Parks under permit from the National Forest Service.
