Photograph caption dated March 3, 1958 reads, "Dr. Lewis L. Austad, director of California Educational Clinic in North Hollywood, receives check for $250 from members of Granada Hills Junior Women's Club to help in work with retarded children at clinic school. Mrs. William Fulton, club philanthropy chairman, presents check. Mrs. John Schmidt, club president, seated, and Mrs. Richard Hawthorne approve. Contribution represents proceeds from group's recent 'Snow Ball.'"
