Photograph article dated January 21, 1958 partially reads, "Twenty-two women are today spotlighted as nominees for the coveted Hourglass Award, to be presented by Hilltoppers of the Assistance League to the Valley's 'most outstanding woman' on Jan. 29 in Sportsmen's Lodge, North Hollywood... Mrs. Clifford Hodel, also prominent in many Valley organizations, has served as a member of the Welfare Planning Council Board, and was vice president of the board for Mental Health Services in 1956-57."
