Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on March 24, 1964 states: "The roadway at the top of Ski Run Boulevard in Al Tahoe, Lake Tahoe, is a popular place for sled riders. The incline is steep enough so that some of the older and heavier riders are bounced off their sleds on the bumps. This rider pictured at the moment he descended after bouncing over a bump, struck his chin on the handle and broke the sled, bruising his chin."
