Photograph article dated March 15, 1961 partially reads, "A heroic mother rescued her daughter and a neighbor's little boy from her burning Pacoima home Tuesday and was nearly trapped in the flames. Mrs. Helen Korb leaped eight feet from her blazing home at 9156 Patrick Ave. after tossing the children out of a window into the arms of spectators. Another two minutes and the children would have been gone,' the boy's father, Dr. Raymond D. Rich, 9126 Patrick Ave., said later. The home was destroyed." Pictured is Mrs. Helen Korb with daughter Ruth (right), and neighbor Danny Rich (center), both 3-years-old.
