Image of armies engaged on battlefield at the Battle of Pittsburg Landing (also called the Battle of Shiloh) in Tennessee during the American Civil War; Union and Confederate foot soldiers charge at each other with wounded and dead soldiers visible on the ground at center; cavalry on horseback charge at bottom right; caption describing battle in bottom margin.
