Description
Photograph caption dated February 10, 1958 reads "These gentlemen are looking at pledge cards which promise support to boating organizations trying to get water reservoirs open to recreational use. They are, from left, Tom Shepard, Everett Burkhalter, Ray Derby, Charles Crawshaw, Don Archer and Larry Norman. Over 35,000 have already signed cards and handed in to form mailing list to carry on fight." Shepard and Burkhalter are Los Angeles City councilmen.
