Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee February 7, 1969 reads: "Three miles northeast of the settlement of French Corral is St. Columncille's Catholic Church, now unused and gradually falling down. It was built in 1862 to be headquarters for the Bridgeport Union Guard and converted to a church in 1869."
