Photograph caption dated December 7, 1963 reads, "Rev. Horst Krockert has industrial ministry." The article partially reads, "The Rev. Horst Krockert, associate director of Gossner Mission in Mainze-Kastel, Germany, addressed pastors of the San Fernando Valley Project of Lutheran Church in America...Gossner Mission is one of several centers in Germany which facilitates exchange between people of different industrial occupations and representatives of the church on everyday problems of belief and ethical behavior. At the mission, the clergy, the workers and apprentices meet together under one roof to 'discover the meaning of work, to help individuals find their places in society, and to help lay leaders understand their ministry to the world."
