Photograph article dated September 12, 1960 partially reads, "Two down and one to go was the watchword in Reseda today after the opening Thursday of two new off-street parking lots. The third planned lot, on which bids will be opened Sept. 28, will possibly be ready for use by Christmas, according to officials. The two lots dedicated Thursday, and hailed by civic and community leaders as "a significant step forward," are located behind commercial buildings on the south side of Sherman Way off Canby and Amigo avenues." Leland Pickering (at right) opens lot as (from left) Walter King, William M. Neighbors, Sam Ball, Edward C. Harris and Fred Blonsky look on.
