Photograph caption dated July 14, 1965 reads "Getting acquainted with 'Napoleon,' a neighborhood macaw at the Good Neighbor Camp in the San Bernardino Mountains, are, from left, Jimmy Van Horn, San Fernando; naturalist Gordon Mote, and Merlin Bowen, Van Nuys. The boys joined nearly 100 young people from Los Angeles and Ventura counties for a camping program sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Churches of Southern California. Museum has proved a high point of interest for the boys who normally do not have an opportunity to attend camps."
