Description
Photograph of Judge McCallum's ranch and orange grove in Palm Springs, later (1936) owned by his daughter Pearl McManus. The ranch house is nestled against the slope of a hill and looks out on the lines of trees in the grove. A mountain range is visible in the distant background. This was the first grove to ship oranges from Palm Springs and the earliest in the state.
