Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Vincent Price was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 27, 1911. He was an actor with a varied career, starting out as a character actor and moving into horror, for which he is best known. He appeared in such films as "House of Wax," "House on Haunted Hill," "The Fly," and "The Ten Commandments." He also played 'Egghead' in the "Batman" television series and made guest appearances on many other television programs, including game shows. Later in life, he performed on the stage and from 1981 to 1989, Price hosted the PBS television series "Mystery!" In 1982 he provided narration for Michael Jackson's hit song "Thriller." He also did voice work in an updated Scooby Doo series. Price was married three times and had two children. He died in 1993. Photograph caption dated December 28, 1964 reads "Vincent Price as Captain Hook in 'Peter Pan.' Also starring Janet Blair. Special holiday attraction at Valley Music Theater through Dec. 27."
