Description
KCRA-TV news footage of the arrest, trial, and conviction of Richard Chase, a serial killer who murdered six people in Sacramento in the span of one month -- December 1978 through January 1979. Called "The Vampire of Sacramento," Chase cannibalized his victims and drank their blood. Trial footage includes reporting by Spencer Michaels, courthouse scenes, courtroom sketches, and courtroom exteriors. Also includes news footage regarding the investigation into the 'Wooly Rapist."
