Photograph caption dated June 5, 1958 reads, "Lee Tripp, right, chairman of Valleywide Committee on Streets and Highways, gains support for committee's Valley street improvement program from, left to right, City Engineer Lyall Pardee, City Traffic Manager Sam Taylor, John E. Roberts, city director of planning, and Edward T. Telford, assistant state highway engineer. They attended dinner meeting at Sportmen's Lodge, in Studio City."
