Photograph of Martha Shoaf in front of staff housing at Manzanar incarceration camp. She is standing on front step next to a door. The collection was donated by Ralph "Pete" Merritt, Jr. and Patricia Merritt. It is comprised of photographs from an album created by L. Josephine Hawes, the Chief Nurse at the Manzanar Hospital, and individual photographs collected by Ralph P. Merritt, the Project Director of the Manzanar War Relocation Center.
