Shown is Sacramento High School in circa 1940. The back of the postcard reads: “Sacramento is justly proud of its fine public school system from kindergarten to accredited Junior College. Its two modern high schools were built at the cost of 2 ½ million dollars.” The other high school, C.K. McClatchy, opened in 1937.
