A photograph of a group of Gakuen students, teachers, and community members. The Gakuen Japanese language school was built in 1926 in Marysville, California. From the Marysville Gakuen photograph collection. Collection consists of drafts and notes for narratives on Asian Americans, photographs, exhibit items, artifacts, publications, and audio and visual material accumulated by Wayne H. Maeda, instructor and founding member of Asian American Studies at Sacramento State.
