Description
Photograph caption dated July 1, 1961 reads, "Barry Kaufman, 16, left, 936 N. Keystone St., and Rick Chandler, 15, 1811 Monterey Ave., both of Burbank, and Ray Shea, 17, 1154 Welby Way, North Hollywood, find a spot for a lamp at rummage sale this week. Band spokesmen declared the event a success, and pointed out that the Police Boys' Band plays in Burbank July 4 on the city's 50th anniversary celebration. The group performs at McCambridge Park from 3 to 5 p.m."
