Photograph of an exterior view of the Outside Inn in Topanga Canyon from the road, ca.1915. The inn is at center and is a light -colored, single-story wooden building with a rectangular façade. A covered porch is out front and an awning covers a window on the second story. The hills behind the building are densely covered with trees, and the broad dirt road in front of the inn is very flat. A sign on the hill at right advertises coffee and sandwiches, while a sign on the inn advertises tent houses.
