Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on June 26, 1972 states: "Flood water gently lapped against the buildings and trees of Isleton today and a trip by rowboat through the abandoned town provides scenes of reflections and unusual sights. At upper left (subject photo), the pressure of the flood was too much for an old building and it toppled. . . . "
